In Japan (part VII)

16th of February

We all slept long and then headed for the station to see Katri off to her return journey. At the bus some Japanese young men started to chat with us. If my memory serves me well, they thought we were from Peru :D Anyway, it was nice that they had the courage to talk in English. After a quick bite at McDonalds (I had a craving for fries), we went with Iina to Forus to shop. Forus is a nice place with seven floors full of too many interesting things. Since it was our last day in Kanazawa (*sob*) we wanted to buy all sorts of stuff.

Grey morning greeted us when we woke up.

A poster from the cinema-area in Forus. Matsuda Shota <3 ^__^

After a while of shopping we got to together with the boys and also Hiro, who was willing to give us a ride all over the city with his car. So nice of him :) First, we went to have sushi! My favourite was one with rice, salmon, onion and mayonnaise. At the restaurant they had a sort of a game, where you could win a small prize: the machine counted the empty plates and after a certain number of returned plates the machine raffled if we could have the prize. We won once. Kids must love that place :D

At the sushi place. You can see sushi going round 'n round on the conveyer. :)

After eating we went to explore all sorts of shops. I was still trying to find that systems camera, but all the second hand shops and other stores we went to didn’t have the model I was looking for. But rummaging through those shops was so much fun! From one store I found hide’s single <3

It was a long day of shopping. I had planned to meet a new friend that day but didn’t have time. We returned to the International House quite exhausted. That night I went to bed knowing that next day I would leave Kanazawa. But without leaving you could never come back, right? Kanazawa, I miss you but I will come back! :)
