Finally - an update!
Ok ladies and gentlemen, I've been busy and I've been in Perth so I haven't really updated here much lately, but for those who haven't caught up, I'm going to China. On Thursday. To be more precice, quarter past Wednessday (12:15 - straight after midnight on Thursday morning).
Yes, that's sooner than I thought it would be. Especially since they're double checking visa's for security reasons (and extra documents including travel documents, and accomodation send FROM CHINA for the ENTIRE stay). So I'm still working on getting my Visa sorted out, but I'm almost ready to go.
I'll also surprise mum if she reads this before I talk to her, because she doesn't know that my flight is booked back for the 15th of September (straight to Perth, though I'll be going to our international conference less than a week after that).
It's been great catching up with friends here in Perth, and I've enjoyed working with the team here, but I'm also excited to be able to get to China and be a part of the work there too.
