Something I've Noticed
From all the old moives I'm watching, a lot of times they TOTALLY peter out at the end. It's almost like they either got really bored or sober at the end of the script. It's all this build up, then like a wink or a kiss, then, end credits. Um.. wait, what happened? This was especally true for The Devil & Miss Jones and Merrily We Roll Along where it was brutially obvious. But there were others where it still left you with a "huh?" Like, not unresolved, that I don;t mind, but resolved way too quickly.
