A good end to a disappointing season
Today was the first week of playoffs for our summer volleyball league. Our first game went alright and we managed to win in 2 sets. So we advanced on to the next round. We got to play against a team that had only lost 1 game all season. The first set went ok. We could have played better. We ended up losing by like 4 points. Our second set started off great. We were up by like 7 points at one point. The game was 16-10 when we slowly started to crumble, once again! It was so frustrating how we let them back in the game after the big lead that we had. But I guess I can't say it surprised me, because we've pretty much done it all season long. I guess it was good to see that we didn't give up and ended up losing 21-20. And I guess we did play one of the best teams in the league, so we didn't do all that bad. I'm just glad that the season is finally over and we can put it all behind us, cause it was pretty frustrating. Hopefully the fall season, which starts on Thursday will go better than this one and we can improve significantly. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for future updates!!!
