movie theater food = blergh
last night I talked to a large number of people I love on the phone (far more than expected, actually): Bean, cousin Neil, cousin Boyd & his wife Kirsten (they just had their first baby, Patrick, last Monday so Neil was visiting while he's state-side.)
no response to my "hot tub bubble bath?" text from The Professor (look at me using a code name, La!) but I am FAR from surprised. I put no weight on what happened Saturday night at all.
finally found a large calender without the month or days written in, just blank pages. it's perfect. speaking of calenders, mine's been filling up right & left with last minute plans before I depart this fair city.
bought my tix to Cambodia today. was a bit of a fiasco as visa decided I had irregular credit card activity but it worked out fine in the end (four phone calls later.) just need my e-visa to go along with it now (my China visa & passport are in ze mail!)
also still need a small day-time backpack. why are the good ones so frigging expensive? I should ask my parents if they've any old ones I could use. and my big backpack & travel accessories are in ze mail as well.
today I'm going to accomplish a butt-load of things and I've timed it all out pretty well, as you undoubtedly want to know in complete detail:
- 4.15 arrive home
- 4.20 put on load of laundry
- 4.25 walk to Porter to cancel gym membership
- 5.25 put laundry in dryer
- 5.30 walk to Cambridgeside Galleria to return bra to VS, buy floss at CVS, and have a look around for a hot red shirt for Saturday
- 6.55 put second load on, fold first
- 7.10 do taxes, purchase Cambodia visa
- 7.45 put laundry in dryer
- 7.50 eat
- 8.15 walk to Harvard Coop to look at Thailand travel books, take notes
- 9 walk home
- 9.20 fold laundry
- 9.30 go to CS meet-up at CBC
- 11.15 (maybe earlier) walk home
- 11.45 go to sleep
can I make a list or can I make a list? booyah! of course if I can convince JM to show up and can be bought some drinks the last step may change to "get proper fucked" but we'll see.
ooh, got cute carry-on squeeze bottles for my body wash/face wash/moisturizer yesterday as well. I need that check from coaching now, please.
