I had my first interview earlier this week. It went pretty well and the guys talked to me for 2 hours. I'd assume they liked me. (fingers crossed)
I need places to meet new people in New Orleans but cursory internet searches only reveal groups that are religious, political, gay/lesbian, or vampire. It's not that I'm against these things (well, maybe I'm against vampires) but I can't just show up at these events without being partially interested in the reason for the get together. It may be a blast, but it makes me feel very out of place. So what do you guys do to meet new people? Have any random events or get togethers ever helped?
