Okay, so i am more pissed off than I have been in a LONG time. The reason? Dr. Kent Hovind, who has a PhD. from Patriot Bible University (it has an association with a Baptist Church).
So a friend of mine, who was conveniently gone for the night, bought these terrible lecture films given by the aforementioned party about Evolution, Creationism, Dinosaurs (which, by the way, he claims coexisted with humans, were carried on Noah's ark, and still exist today), the age of the earth (which is apparently 6,000 years old....), and the list goes on.
It's really funny when you get about 8 Stanford students watching a lecture given by a complete idiot whose logic, theories, and rationale are devoid of coherence, relevance and integrity. Such a raving, ignorant buffoon I have rarely witnessed.
If any of you has $100 to spend on a whim, I suggest this lecture series. It will make you scream your head off - even the simplest logic will debunk "doctor" hovind's arguments.
P.S. the bastard ripped on Texas and Bill Clinton. That's going a bit too far. He also claims Lucy, Java Man, and the rest of the gang are actually chimps in disguise.
But the biggest idiocy of all? Apparently 6,000 years ago, when the earth was being formed, the earth was enveloped in a highly oxigenated bubble that caused all creatures (including humans) to grow to monstrous sizes and live to be hundreds of years old. Apparently this theory is more likely than evolution. Go figure.
I'm going to bed because my head hurts from being too pissed off at stupid people. Shame on you, "doctor..." people actually believe your trash. Get a life. Go shack up with Reverend Tim Todd. I bet you two would get along just fine.
