life update.
hello livejournal. long time, no see. let's catch up.
my first nephew, jordan, was born in june. he's beautiful and perfect and adorable, and i've never loved a little human being so much before. like, i'm obsessed. the child is going to be severely spoiled by me, and i'm not mad about it.
sean and i are doing fantastic. like, really, as close to perfect as possible. and he makes me one happy little lady.
the past couple of months i've been working at macy's. it's been alright, but i know i can do better, and i'm already ready to leave. which brings me to my next bit of huge, fantastic news. i got hired as a full time sales advisor at the new h&m we have opening here in orlando! i've been waiting for this for a while now, and couldn't be more pumped! in a week, they're sending me to atlanta for three weeks of training. when i get back in town we'll head into the store, set it up, and i'll be training the part timers. a significantly higher paying position and amazing benefits. plus, it's h&m! i couldn't be happier about this you guys. my career is finally starting to take off, and i'm so excited about it!
in addition to this, the past month i've been interning at a fashion jewelry company called hip + candy as a public relations/marketing intern. it's been great so far, and along with my new job, it's really gonna help in making me more well rounded in the fashion industry. i have no idea what the future will hold, but i kinda like where i'm headed so far.
oh, and, fall is finally here! my favorite time of the year. a time for pumpkin spice soy lattes, pumpkin candles, scary movies, fall festivals, cardigans and boots, amazing weather, and most importantly, the best holiday ever, halloween! this of course only adds to my overwhelming happiness.
