Well shee-ai-it!

New Year's was a good time for, at least up until 3 or 4 in the morning. After that it went downhill until about 7:30 when I just had to leave. Nothing too extraordinarily bad, it just got pretty freakin uncomfortable. But I got to play with Trinity, so things were good. I tried to call her about it on Monday and left a message just saying hi and emailed her instead. Now I didn't check it, but a half hour later I had a reply saying I should call back.

I called her at around 7:30 and I got off the phone about a half an hour ago. And my battery died once in mid-sentence. I can't believe how both of us can go on these weird tangents to illustrate our points, and listen to it all. It's like I have found someone who doesn't mind how I have to suddenly switch topics to prove something and forget where I came from. At one point she apologized for being "on random". It was crazy how we were both all over the place.

I was all mopey earlier from the New Year's Party but happening to catch some of "Mind of Mencia" made me laugh and start to feel better. Having heard her voice made me feel wonderful, and now I am not even tired. :D

I got a phone call this weekend from Miss Kitty who had been having a rough time recently and everything is back to normal with her. It worked out perfectly for her in the end and I am very happy for her. She even thanked me for being a good friend to her in that time period. She is so sweet, being there for her was a privilege, and I know she would have my back if something like that should happen to me. *waves to Miss Kitty*

And my Gevvy-Head left me a voicemail while I was talking to Trinity and sang to me. There are many songs that make me think of my Gevvy-Head and when I hear them in the car I will call her and sing along a few bars to her voicemail. She returned the favor with Gordon Lightfoot's "Sundown" a tune I did karaoke to when I was in LA with her and Sarah-Head. I love my Gevvy-Head and Sarah-Head!

Of course now, even though some things happened at New Year's that were terribly uncomfortable and ridiculously embarrassing, since it's still part of the weekend I would have to say that is a pretty damned good way to start the year. Happy Fweakin' New Years everyone!!
