(no subject)
Gotta try and entertain myself enough to stay awake all day. The Mrs. wants me to pick her up at 2:30 or something, and I know if I go to sleep I might not get up in time to do it. This all stems from the fact that she has a job interview at a new school today at 3:30 (I am sure of this despite her parinoia that it is in fact at 3:00. I mean she wrote 3:30 down.) So I shall strive to do something worthwhile, or at least something all day until i must go get her. Maybe I'll shave...
Can't decide what I hate more, shaving or a beard. I'm thinking it's the beard, mainly 'cuz it makes me look more like my dad (part of the reason I cut off all 2 feet of my hair). Lucked out on the work thing.
The boss type called about 10:30 last night and said don't worry about it. That makes me happy and a little sad. I hated to do it, but I hate not getting the additional cash too. Which just means that I would have worked if he had asked.
Still no leads on that baby-killer. Greenville's finest are hard at work on it I'm sure, all 3 of them. It's really sad that a town the size of Greenville is having to operate at 60% law-enforcement because the city council thinks 1980's budget will be enough to pay everyone. Well, that and the fact that Greenville is almost as dangereous as the more than twice as large and crime ridden Jackson. I need to move.
