The Return to Livejournal
I finally actually have the motivation and desire to write an entry in here. I have been bad the last...oh... month it seems. Honestly there isn't/wasn't much going on before that I felt belonged in the LJ. I was living in Evanston as CT Ellen and it left me disoriented and cranky. I was quite the poohead the last month and a half. Luckily my girl had much patience with me. I took care of myself and went on a little vacation so I am no longer being a poohead (at least I don't think so...)
I went to Ocean City, MD for a week and saw a lot of family and then my best friend and her family. Things went well with everyone. My parents and I got on great and my mom really missed me. In fact she and Erin's mom are coming out to visit me in October. She missed me so much and was upset that she was only getting to see me for a few days that she decided to join Teri on her business trip to Chicago. I feel loved. I missed her too actually, so I am very excited about her coming out here. And Teri too!! Yay! My aunt Maureen is also coming to Chicago on a business trip and added an extra day so that we could hang out. I don't see her much, but she's pretty cool and that was really sweet of her. Plus I finally got to spend a substantial amount of time with Erin (and Mary for that matter) and really make sure everything was good between us, which it is.
Nicole and I have been together for 3 and a half months now. We had a little rough spot (see the poohead comment above) but we got through it to a really amazing spot. I am so so happy to have her in my life. She leaves on Sunday for school sadly, but I already have tickets to visit her in September and she's coming home for her fall weekend in October.
Work is chill. Have barely thought about Rainbow. Friends return soon.
Over all things feel really good.
