QUIT CHANGING MY JOURNAL THEME WITHOUT WARNING.

One minute it's my nice, simple, red-based one, and then all of a sudden it's an ugly blue and I can't see everybody's user pic and STOPPIT.

Dear Self:

No, hard alcohol is not an acceptable alternative to painkillers. Even (or, should I say, especially) Papa's Hooch. (Deceptively smooth, that Hooch.) The side effects are, shall we say, not pleasant. And it's hard to Get Shit Done when you're nursing both a sore flank and a hangover.

I've been threatening to step away from the social/news/political/current events websites lately, and I think I might make good on that threat starting tonight.
