Warm thoughts for a cold evening.

Good news about the "YOU NO CAN HAS HOME LOAN*" news is that I can use my income tax refund to pay off my credit card bill. And have some left over to tuck away for Next Time.

And maybe set some aside for a long weekend this summer. (I'm eyeballing Six Flags**.) If nothing else, it's nice to think about summertime when there's four foot snow drifts wherever you look.

Some idjit is beeping outside.

I quipped "pick your knuckles up off the ground and use them to knock on the door!"***

Andy laughed.

I don't know why I get all giddy when I make him laugh, but I do.

BossMan called me today, saying he wasn't bothering with opening the store today. He said he'd call if/when he did unlock the doors.

So I got a snow day too.

With Mom borrowing my vacuum cleaner, I didn't quite get to Clean ALL The Things. But I did get laundry done. Including bedsheets. Just need to recruit Andy to help me put them back on the bed.

Mickie is out of school tomorrow. I don't know what that means for me, job-wise. Andy had the day off, so there's no big whoop if I do have to go in****. But if I'm off again, I'll need to find something to do. Perhaps dusting. Or baking.

FOOTNOTES ARE DIGGING OUT OF THE SNOW:

*-It wasn't like that. My nice loan officer lady was very apologetic. She was the one that suggested I ask Older Aunt about copping a squat.

**-A combination of my geekiness about roller coasters and tendency to be friendly on the Interwebs (namely, a forum for former employees and present historians of the park) have gained me an invite to an exclusive evening to ride a revamped wooden coaster. It looks like it'll give me at least five gray hairs when I ride it, but it'll be so worth it.

***-I know, it's single digit weather outside, but that doesn't mean your manners are froze.

****-Except for, of course, dealing with the idjits with four-wheel drive. Yeah, yeah, they can go on snow. But can they stop?

roller coasters, weather, housework, laundry, the house, winter, work, mickie, vacation
