Nano or Not Nano?

That is the question.

I have plenty of ideas that have been percolating at the back of my silly little mind for, in some cases, years. A ("loving") spoof on celebrity dating reality shows. A take on Pride and Prejudice (no zombies, alas, at least not yet). A take on Twelfth Night(no zombies there, either). A collection of stories from a drag queen bar (that may be a popular hangout for a cross-dressing roller derby team. None of them are zombies, though). Maybe I'll brew up something about the unquiet undead between now and then, if inspiration strikes...

Or... Maybe I'll take something I've been working on and make it a goal to finish, adding 50,000 words to it. Mild cheating, but it's a way to get something done.

And it'd be something to do besides aimlessly surf the internet wave when I do have down time. A few thousand words here and there instead of poking about TVTropes, and I just might finish!

However. The month of November has a huge question mark on it. Will I be neck-deep into purchasing The House? Will I be neck-deep into moving into The House? Yay or nay either way, can I fit in writing along with training for a Thanksgiving 5K? (Woah, rhymes.) And I may be trying to convince BossMan and OwnerDude to let me give saxophone lessons...

Like the 5K, I think I'll have my mind made up by Halloween. Maybe. Perhaps. Dunno.

I don't think this is a good day to decide on it. I didn't get squat done. I made supper and started a load of dishes, but that's about it. I may get up here in a second and at least fold/hang stuff so I have some clothes to wear tomorrow. (And clean towels in the closet - I'm going running tomorrow, because the weather is going to get cool/windy/wet soon. That and I haven't run since Wednesday. I have a bad case of Dragon Ass as of late...)

I think I'm justified in blaming my apathy on exhaustion due to thumping music and too many houseguests across the street last night... don't you? I'll go to bed early tonight so I don't have that excuse tomorrow...
