So. Still a couple pounds heavier than I was last week.

However, I realized several things:
- I've been sleep deprived this week. One of the first things the weight loss people tell you (after Eat Less, Move More) is Get Plenty of Rest.
- The first thing to go when you're low on sleep is your give-a-damn.
- I had three regular Cokes this past week.
- My body probably retained some weight - probably water, but possibly the sugars from those three Cokes - out of spite for trying to exercise with a sleep deficiency.

So. I won't worry about things until I'm caught up on sleep. I'm better today than yesterday: I went from "Migraine-Inducing" to "Crabby As Hell". Hopefully I can skip the "Slow on the Uptake" level and be at "Functional With Occasional Yawning Fits" tomorrow. I can go from there...

I'll try three Valerian root pills tonight. If I wake up a bit logy (which I'm not supposed to, but the way things are going I'm taking nothing for granted), I have time and coffee to shake it off.

Andy is incredibly congested. I'd feel worse for him if 1)he didn't bring it on himself by overusing nose spray (and still using a saline mister, which shoves everything right back up in his melon) and 2)he'd given up the holistic bullshit when it stopped working and taken the OTC meds sooner.

Just got back from the store where I got Mucinex for him and beer for me. If I'm gonna put up with his snotting, I'm not going to do it completely sober!

It's too early to eat supper and go to bed. Well, for me anyway. My grandparents are probably taking advantage of an Early Bird Special as I speak.

I need to do something for the next four hours. I may cave in and take a walk (no jogging) soon.
