Have I mentioned that Mickie has watched Monty Python for the first time? (We let her cut her teeth on Holy Grail.)
Her reaction? "It's silly and kind of stupid, but it's funny! I like it!"
We've already said "Ni!" several times, and I woke her up this morning with "WHAT... is your favorite color?"
Next, The Best of Eric Idle. Even though I'm pretty sure the Hollywood Bowl performance of "Sit On My Face" will gross her out. Not due to the lyrics (I'm guessing more than half of them will go over her head), but due to the fact that they bow, turn, and moon the audience with their pasty British arses. Which means she'll be all "eww" and hide her eyes.
I'm raising a girl geek. Hopefully it'll be enough that I won't have to worry about her when she discovers that boys aren't gross after all.
