I realized this morning in the shower that it was time to summerize myself.
That means actually using shaving cream on my legs instead of soap. And shaving past the knees more often. (Eww, said some of you.)
It's time to find the sunscreen and start using it when I'm outside for longer than it takes to get into Ruby. Ditto bug spray, perhaps.
It's time to try on my shorts wardrobe and see what still fits, what I still need to shrink into, and what I can retire because they're too big.
It's time to paint my toenails. (Not necessarily my fingernails, because talk about rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic...)
It's time to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
It's time to find alternatives to Mickie vegging out all day in front of the TV or computer.
It's time to get ready for blazing hot temperatures, which will be easier to bear this summer because Ruby has air conditioning. (The heat coming later than usual this year, which makes me wonder if it'll arrive with a vengeance.)
So. Right. Off to take inventory of my shorts, keeping in consideration that Aunt Flo has attributed to a little bit of puffiness. It'll give me something to do while I'm waiting for a thunderstorm (yeah, another one!) to move into the county.
