Sure Happy It's Thursday!
One more thing about politics, and it's kind of funny and thought-inducing at the same time, so...
Somebody is trying to set up a Tea Party in my fair town. All I saw of it was a hand-written sign on bright pink poster paper near the busiest intersection in town.
And all I could think was "I wonder if they called the police office for security?"
Think about it. Requesting the help of the very people whose paychecks you want to invalidate. How much "security" do you think they want to provide?

Mickie's teacher is supposed to call us tonight. Apparently the homework in question is Spelling, which she has always been whip-smart at. So it's a case of The Lazies after all?
I have decided not to 'let' her flunk. She's going to pass, she's going to move ahead, and she's going to stay on top of things, because I'm going to stay on top of her.
You know, the Mean Little Boy that lives next to Mom may be re-doing fifth grade. Maybe she's afraid of having him in her class...

Amanda-cat is kind of standoffish. She won't let me love on her unless she senses something's wrong. The last time I remember her willingly snuggling is when I was on the couch after having my wisdom tooth pulled...
This morning, she tried to share my lap with my laptop.
Either she knows something I don't know, or she could tell I'm a bit emotionally/mentally worn.
Good kitty.
I'm sure that after this weekend we'll feel better about things. At least I hope so. In the meanwhile, I wonder if I can talk Andy into a run to ye ole spirit shoppe...
