Thoughts on things
Tomorrow, I need to make a call to the real estate company that has The House and get some basic facts. Both Andy and I have dropped the ball this week, and I need to pick it up and run with it.
Also, as soon as it gets warm enough so I'll actually enjoy it, I'm going to the park for a run. I think after getting Beatrix and riding her the last couple weeks, I might have more stamina. We shall see.

The head band director in town came in today for chromatic tuners and a quick visit.
Most of the band directors are spending what they can now on what they will need for next year, because the school budget is going to take quite the hit. They're not talking about firing people (yet), but they're not replacing people who resign or retire.
So. I'm going to take my time getting my teaching degree. Simply because I want to teach in town (or maybe one of the outlying areas), and if they're not hiring for a while then there's no reason to press the issue, right?
Plus, if we're going to buy a house, I may have to put my energy into that.
So. Soon. But not too. And in little bites.

Shoulda got a bottle of wine or something on my way home. Things are starting to grate.
At least I'll have most of a day to myself tomorrow. Mickie had the last three Fridays off (Spring Break, parent-teacher conferences, and Good Friday), and as much as I adore her, I think I'd love a little "me" time. Nothing wrong with that. Right?
