The office of New Dentist called - moved my appointment from Wednesday to Monday.
Might have to do some finagling at work, and I'll probably have to drive myself there (I don't think they'll knock me out, so that's a non-issue), but... I'll have the Wisdom Tooth From Hell out of me sooner rather than later, YAY!
