G'morning.
Mickie is usually a bear to get up in the mornings for school. So when I realized I had to wake her up an hour earlier than usual this morning, I braced myself.
You wouldn't believe how bright-eyed and bushy-tailed she is right now.
I guess when she's facing a day of schoolwork she's harder to get up. Today she's out for her first school trip on her first school bus. She'll perform with kids from all around the state, and she's a real "instant bosom friend" type of girl.
Wonder if we can get her up this early and this perky every morning... (She read over my shoulder, so to speak, and said "NO!")
I gotta go brush a head of hair that's not mine...
