Friday afternoon, getting things done.
What I've done today:
- Got paid (in cash, because "home base" keeps dicking around with our gorram paychecks) and went to the bank to deposit it.
- Newspaper office: paid for my renewed subscription there so the message to get me my paper would not be garbled.
- Got gas in The Heap. It's now worth at least $30.
- Haircut. Well, hair trim.
What I still need to do:
- Get a prepaid cell phone activated for Mickie so she can call me or Mom or whoever she needs to call after school.
- Pay some bills so we're caught up until Andy's payday.
- Get laundry done. Andy got distracted on Wednesday. *sprains an eye socket from keeping self from rolling eyes*
- Drop off some old clothes at the Salvation Army.
- Get Mickie from school.
- Figure out dinner.
What I'd like to do, but can wait:
- Donate blood
- Buy lottery tickets.
- Get some fresh mascara for myself, exacto knives for Andy, and a tux shirt for Mickie (that she won't need until January, so.)
- Go to the nearby car lot and poke around, daydream a bit.
- Go to NWOSU (despite the fact that the office is closed on Fridays, which how can you run a railroad like that?), get some info on coursework for the Bachelors degrees I'm eyeballing.

I think I'm going to regret lunch - a #3 from Sonic with onions on the coney. And yes, I'm eating the peppermint in order to counteract the effects.
Hey, the sun's shining today! First time all week that it's done more than cocktease us with a beam or two.
Okay, that's it. I just had my first productive morning off in weeks, and the afternoon looks good too.
