LiveJournal doesn't like my "Men of Gridiron" icon for some reason. Poo.
Hey, anybody out there wanna talk football?
I want to make a few points:
- Gresham won't be playing tomorrow. Seeing as they're playing BYU, I'm not totally sure they'll need him. So here's hoping this means he'll heal up a bit, get some therapy, and be ready to play come the October games.
- Oklahoma State has lost two starters - one to an injured ACL (yowtch), another to legal entanglements (something about a VPO). Which shores up my prediction that OU will win Bedlam this year (that and it being a Norman game).
- On the other side of The River, Texas has lost four players, at least three of them being first-string. This helps gel my prediction that OSU will beat Texas in Stillwater this Halloween.
- Oregon played Boise State last night*. What happened last night? Was just tacky tacky tacky. Keep it between the goal posts, boys. Use your testosterone and amazing physical capabilities for the powers of good.
*-If neither team will get over the fact that they beat OU years ago, neither will I. May the fleas of a thousand Bevos infect their jock straps. /sore loser
