Lost mind. Lose five days.
Last night, I downloaded an Apple IIe emulator and the old standby, "Oregon Trail".
Wanna know what's funner than fun?
Playing "Oregon Trail", going hunting, and upon seeing a rabbit, going into full-bore "What's Opera, Doc?" mode:
"KILL DA WABBIT! KILL DA WABBIT!"
And of course, on the off occasion that I shoot one of those fast little bunnies:
"What have I done? *sob* Poor little wabbit... poor little bun... FOOD, Y'ALL! WE CAN MAKE IT TO THE NEXT STOP!"
Then explain to my daughter (yay next generation DOS users!) that they shot wabbits-er, rabbits to survive.
Were I better artist, it would make for a good comic strip. That and Fort Walla Walla makes for a good chant: "Fort Walla Walla Walla FORT Walla Walla Walla..."
