Hurricane Mickie has hit Florida!
Mickie called this evening, poolside. They went to the Magic Kingdom last night (after a nap), went on a safari ride at Animal Kingdom and got drenched on a water ride today, and decided to take a dip before supper tonight. (The food is geared towards kids, so she's gotten plenty to eat, when Nana June actually reminds her to do so. The little toot is too excited, it sounds like.)
She lost a tooth this morning! It was getting loose last week...
She's written in her journal/scrapbook already. One of the first entries is from the plane: "I'm so scared." (Once she saw the tops of the clouds, she got much better.) She's also taken tons of pictures already.
Not sure what tomorrow brings, but she said she'd call again at the same time. I need to remind her to call Mom (who provided this post's subject line) and get her filled in.
Sounds like she's having the time of her life, and good for her. I'm just kind of afraid that any future trips to Six Flags or the like with me and Andy are going to pale in comparison... Nah. It'll be with us - she'll love it no matter what...
