I decided at work that I was going to work without a break so I could leave early. One, we had to cover our own breaks and thought I'd make it a bit easier on us, and two, I thought for sure I could leave before too long.
Still ended up working nearly an hour over time.
Moral of the story: never count on anything.

Andy and I discussed talking about getting married on his vacation.
He did a bit of research - we're going to have to dig up our divorce decrees, pre-order our marriage certificate/license, and find a J.O.P that's available in June. One of these things is impossible.
So. We're thinking next month. Perhaps on the eighth. (07/08/09, get it?)

Speaking of Andy - he ordered some art supplies online, and they arrived this afternoon. He handed me a sheet of what I thought was bubble wrap...
But the bubbles don't pop.
Ladies and gentlemen, WTF is this world coming to when they pack stuff in bubble wrap that doesn't pop? Nevermind the economy - we have people needing to let off a bit of stress and are being thwarted by bastardized bubble wrap.
Is this a job for President Obama to tackle, or can my congressman take care of this?
