T minus a little less than ten hours...

At graduation practice, I learned what to do tomorrow, got some free NOC schwag and a piece of cake, signed up for the Alumni Association (first year is free, yay) and found a potential replacement for myself at the day care.

I've known her all year - she's a staggered double major, finished her business degree, and is working on her CDA. She'll be a nice fit. Smart, good worker, good sense of humor. She beat me back to the day care (I had a hard time finding a parking spot, okay?) to talk to BossMan.

And there's another woman that asked about the job. So. Feel less bad about job hunting.

Tomorrow won't be for me.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm proud of myself for sticking through and pushing myself and getting things done.

But tomorrow is for Andy, who has worked a job he dislikes so that I can work part-time and go to school full time.

It's for Mom, who has carefully encouraged me to better myself and offered to help financially more than once (never took her up on it) and paid my car insurance.

It's for Mickie, who has been inspired by me and impressed by me and is looking forward to seeing her mom graduate - not something a whole lot of kids can do.

It's for Twiggy, who continues to inspire me.

And it's for you guys, who have patiently endured my to-do lists and my struggles and my breakdowns and my Moments of BooYah. Y'all will be there in spirit. Pictures will be taken and posted. *loves you all*

I'm going to put my pennant up somewhere. *drinks a beer with a NOC cozy on it.*

school, work, graduation
