Laptop of Luxury
I'm posting from bed.
It's as nice as it sounds. Tons of pillows, plenty of lighting, quieter than the front room, a place to put my eats and drinks... Must do this more often.
Especially after a day like today. Shit. Had to skip band for the meeting at work. Which meant I got more hours, so no huge deal for now, but if BossMan insists on continuing to make these meetings on Tuesday, I'm going to lose my scholarship, and he'll owe me a grand. Dammit.
Lady Sally is now equipped with Microsoft Office 2007. Tomorrow I'll hunt for my old writing projects, load them onto Q and have him put them to Sally (ooo, dirty!) and resume my old hobby. Lady Sally and I are still getting to know each other - she likes a more gentle touch on her mouse pad, for example - but I think we'll get along swimmingly once I uninstall Norton and upload/install AVG.
Tomorrow is Andy's birthday. (Forty-one, if you're keeping count at home.) He bought himself something, but he gave it to me for safekeeping and I think he forgot it. Good! I remembered. He'll be surprised, kind of.
I have some more stuff to blog about (including a meme, I know), and I was going to get less about 'me me me' and talk about something substancal, but I'm tired and I need to get up early tomorrow to shower. So... G'nite.
