For being a card-carrying carnivore, I sure can cook the hell out of a vegetarian chili. From scratch, even. (If you don't count the TVP 'ground beef', because that was store-bought.) It's in the kitchen simmering away to perfection right now, and the house smells so good. Between the palmful of cumin and the five cloves of garlic... Can't wait to get a spoon in it.
I'm going to take a bowl of it to Mom and see if she can tell it's meatless.

Andy and Mickie went shopping - she wanted to trade one of her Game Boy cartridges for something more interesting.
I told Andy that Obama should recruit Edwards for his running mate, and he agreed: "It'd be Batman and Robin. The Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder."
Leave it to him to make politics into a comic book. But he is absolutely right...
