Summer! Baking! Hurray!
What I love about the summer is not the warmth (on the contrary - it makes me feel faint all the time @_@) nor the bright sun.
Actually, it's the fact that watermelons are cheap and the most lovely snack when it's hot outside.
Who needs ice cream? ;-)
The second thing I love about the beginning summer are the first locally grown strawberries! They're dead delicious!
The day before yesterday I went strawberry picking with my dear mistress to a nearby field (Cos it's cheaper than buying them in the supermarket). Together we've picked about 3 kg fresh, bloody delicious and crimson strawberries. Yay~
I made a fancy cake from them yesterday!
