In Manila, there's either a lack of road signs, or an excess amount of them. You also have to figure out what the signs are trying to say, otherwise, you may be committing a traffic violation without knowing it.
For example, NO SWERVING actually means NO LANE CHANGE or NO CUTTING LANES.

It took me a while to figure it out. The NO JAYWALKING part was easy. At first, I thought the CLOSED DOOR POLICY IN EFFECT meant that if you were caught jaywalking, there was no room for discussion and one could not plead his or her case.
Actually, it simply means that buses should keep their doors closed.
