I'm very rusty on Spanish. I can read some, speak a little but if someone speaks to me in Spanish then I'm sunk!

I saw your smarties picture on the photsaday community. I used to live next to Vancouver, BC, Canada... I'd go up to Canada on a weekly basis and my favorite part was hitting the gas station for cheap smarties on the way home :D

I was going to do a French degree at Exeter. I ended up doing English in Aberystwyth... I'm pretty sure I should've stuck with French though!

That would have been funny if you had come here! Have you graduated yet? I had a friend who did English at Aberystwyth, she started at Wolverhampton, changed to Aber and then went back to Wolverhampton again! >_<

It would. It seemed like a pretty nice Uni, though I didn't get to see the town when I visited.
I didn't graduate, I got ill and had to leave in my second year.
