Two pints of chipperness
I am currently pleased for two reasons.
The doll that I had a put a deposit on in August is having it's first round of shipments from Fairyland. I know that mine is not part of this shipment, but apparently the one I had ordered is expected to arrive in a few weeks at Denver Doll. It's currently workday thirty-four of a sixty day expected wait (just checked that, haha), so if this information is true, she'll be arriving much sooner than anticipated!
Seeing some owner pictures was quite fun. I'm am so glad that she looks as nice as she does. That's definitely a worry that I frequently have when I buy dolls without having the chance to see them first, as was the case with Fairyland Chloe since I ordered her the week she came out. So far I have had good luck with this though.
In other doll related matters, I sent my first doll to be painted by elisa_maza on Den of Angels (Angel Toast face-ups). Her work is so beautiful, and I really look forward to seeing the result. I have tried countless times to do a face-up on this doll, but never managed to get the look right. My doll is expected to be done by the end of the month. :)
And the other thing...
My favourite place to get lunch put their mushroom soup back on the menu! This was quite a pleasant surprise this afternoon. This also means that I will probably be going here more often before school for soup and tea, a wonderfully healthy alternative to not eating anything until the evening. Also, I am super excited that this place has Matcha tea now! The owner recently took a trip to Japan, and I requested matcha tea, haha. It's a little silly that none of the Japanese restaurants in the area seem to have it!
