Summary: Your words don’t fool me, but I am drawn in by your scent, your plush mouth and slender fingers poisoning my skin.
It’s a little disorienting to awaken because you think you hear someone say your name. Then again, Luhan had only been half asleep, so maybe he’d still been dreaming. Had he been dreaming? He’s awake now, so what does it matter.
Eyes closed tenderly, a delicate smile of a thousand thoughts, you’re lying in wait.
Stretching, he sits up and looks around the dark room, taking in the shadows and letting his eyes adjust. Beyond the door, he can see a dull glow of light, probably from the others and whatever they’re doing outside of the room. His cell phone tells him it’s nearing midnight. How long has he been asleep?
Your soft voice, gentle touch, burning kisses that suck the life from me.
He wonders what the others are doing. Would they have thought to include him if he’d been awake? He doesn’t feel like going to see them. An empty feelings has sunk to the pits of stomach, making him sick and restless. On top of his exhaustion, it’s enough to make him wish he’d never woken up.
I ignore it, but you press harder into me, seeping into my very being with your false promise of splendor.
He slips out of the blankets of his bed and approaches the door, pressing his ear against it in an attempt to eavesdrop. He hears nothing and retreats back, sitting down on the edge of the bed and pulling his knees up to his chest. The black that surrounds him is deafening.
Listening for your heart, I fall deeper and deeper into your trap, helpless in your hold.
He picks at a scab on his left arm, fingernails cutting in until he draws blood. The door opens, but he doesn’t look up at the intruder. His hand is pulled away from the opened wound, and soft lips brush against his skin, a pink muscle darting out to clean away the forming pool of red. His whole body still tingles from the sensation.
You told a lie that I stupidly believed, and yet I can’t look away from your mesmerizing eyes, the ones that I call home.
“How long have you been awake?” asks a hushed voice, as if nervous the words will procure a negative response. Luhan remains silent, gaze focused on a small spider hanging down from a web on the right corner of the ceiling. Maybe if he waits long enough, the darkness will swallow all three of them.
I am not so fragile that I may shatter like a porcelain doll dropped on a granite floor, so stop handling me with such care.
“Don’t ignore me,” the voice continues, louder this time as those lips hungrily find his. He’s smiling slightly, nipping at the intruder’s lower lip. “Why were you doing that?” asks the voice, muffled into his mouth. “Picking at it will make it scar.”
Your whisper, your coarse tongue gripped between my teeth, I’ll tear out your words one by one.
Rough hands push him onto the bed, feel up his shirt and scratch his skin with a ferocity that makes him tremble. “Why won’t you answer me?” the voice inquires, teeth marring the crook of his neck and producing strangled whimpers from the back of his throat. He feels a surge of excitement course through his body, the idea that his despondency spurs the intruder to grip harder, kiss deeper, anything to get a reaction.
There’s no need to fight for control, you already forfeited it a long time ago.
He hopes those harried touches leave bruises, something to prove that this isn’t just a dream. It’s almost like he’s melting in the intruder’s grasp, hot and full of lust and emotion. Even if he spends the whole day locked away in his mind, he knows that one moment in these experienced hands will coax him out.
Give me one chance, one opportunity to prove that I can’t live without you, no matter how much I try to deny it.
“Don’t go,” Luhan finally speaks, voice breathy and needy as the intruder attempts to get up. “P-please... don’t go.” He hovers over Luhan, looking down at him with narrowed eyes, hands resting skeptically on his hips. Then, slowly and silently, he lowers himself back onto Luhan, allowing their lips to meet once more.
Your words don’t fool me, but I am drawn in by your scent, your plush mouth and slender fingers poisoning my skin.
