Summary: While contemplating his future, Bucky spontaneously accepts Sam's offer to visit the Wilson family in Delacroix. What do I do with the rest of my life? Is an odd question for a 106-year-old to have to answer. The unfolding events muddle before helping settle his thoughts.
Notes: I was inspired by the SamBucky Halloween challenge on Tumblr, but I couldn't deal with the immensity of doing an entire bingo. So here is my one Halloween-themed fic, which I expected to be about the supernatural. It took an unexpected turn and became about racism in America as much as the holiday. So that was strange, but I've learned to let my brain go where it will, and it seemed fitting for the issues addressed in TF&tWS.

This fic is finished, but I split into 6 chapters, as that seems to be how people prefer to read. I'm doing a last read-through but will post it all shortly.
