I have none. Yet I am less busy than I was when I had more. I don't get it. It's not just that I have little to no computer access at work...the world won't end if I never post here again. *GASP* It just seems that my day is over after a few blinks. And how is it SEPTEMBER?!?!?! (There should be an interrobang option on the keyboard.) September! I've been swimming once! I missed the entire "easy dieting" season in two blinks.
I'm not really complaining. I'm enjoying my time, such as it is. But I wish I knew where the rest of it was. Ahhh well.
I have a weekend get-away planned for the end of the month...so time passing quickly isn't all bad. My mommy is awsome!
Also, on a totally unrelated note: (This has been bothering me recently)
Dear Under-performing Sports "stars",
Your overpaid career exists solely to entertain your fans. You do not have a grand, glorious, or meaningful job. It does not matter if you win the superbowl/world series/world cup/whatever. Lives are not made or lost. Major breakthroughs will not be made. In fifty years, your name will be irrelevant to everyone except trivia buffs in your sport of choice. So PLEASE stop whining about how unsupportive your fans are, how unfair the media is being or how hard your multi-million dollar life is. People do not have an obligation to show you they believe in you. They especially do not if you are not performing well or providing the entertainment you are being paid to provide. Your fans can boo if they want to. If that's what amuses them or makes their ridiculously expensive ticket to your event more valuable to them. Grow a thicker skin. If I do my job poorly, no one cheers. I don't expect them to, and you must live in a very privileged world since you seem to expect a great outpouring of love and affection for mediocre to bad work. If the pressure is just too much for you, get a real job in the real world. You're in for a hell of a shock.
Love,
me.
