Leavin' on a jet plane...
Unbelievably, I have gotten admission to the University of British Columbia! True, this happened almost 2 months ago, but I never got around to writing about it here.
Well the study permit is done, the gathering of (most) items that are travelling with me is done...just need to put everything into a suitcase now...which will probably take time. Leaving this weekend, woohoo. Kinda nervous though, since its like the first time I'm going to be alllllll alone and the nearest person I know is some 1000 miles away (I'm guessing the distance). Ah well, I guess I'll get used to it some time or the other!
Weather's quite nice here...actually raining now! But the mosquitos are coming out in droves and all feeding on me...driving me mad!! I'm bitten all over and it itches!!! Die mosquitos, die!!! Seriously, who'd miss them if they were gone?!
Anyways I'm going to be without a computer for the first few weeks so I wont be writing anything here...not like I'm a regular camper :p I usually drift in whenever I remember something...or have nothing else to do. This is a good way of generally emptying my mind and its fun because no one reads this so I get to say whatever I like and not sound weird :p Can get away with saying things like flobbergrat! Dont ask me what that means!!
Well I'm off to bed now..its late and I got up rather early. Apparently, the rain seeped into the walls and weakened the cement or something. As a result, a few rather large chunks fell from top of the window onto my sister's desk with a resounding crash at 7 AM...not a good way to wake up. Add a gruelling day on top of that and you'll sort of get where I am right now. So nighty night!!
