(no subject)
So, another day at work full of doing pretty much nothing. Boredom so extreme that I actually changed my computer wallpapers. Yes, plural! I has totally awesome dual monitor setup! Regular monitor for doing regular work, widescreen monitor turned to portrait layout to view documents on. Makes the job so much easier . . . and makes for much cooler wallpaper themes!

Taya watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas last night. (The 1966 animated version, of course.) She was absolutely entranced. Just sat in front of the TV, silent, playing with her hair and staring at the screen. For a kid who showed virtually no interest in It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, this was a big surprise. Let's see how she likes the puppet animation of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on Wednesday. She's actually a bit excited about that since she just recently learned the song. (And has been wanting me to sing it with her several times a day for the past week!)
I'm pretty sure she's going through a growth spurt. She's been eating non-stop! Thursday morning we made pancakes and eggs and she ate ELEVEN 'silver dollar' pancakes (About 3" in diameter) along with her serving of eggs. And maybe an hour later was telling me she was hungry again! That's all I hear from her is "I'm hungry. My tummy's burbling." This kid's going to eat us out of house and home!

I really should be working on my year-end employee self evaluation but . . . UGH! I hate that kind of thing. I started on it and gave myself ratings in all the categories, but now I have to figure out comments to put for each of them. This is where I get stuck. I'm just no good at bragging about myself! It's due on Friday so I have a couple of days to procrastinate about it. *sigh* I think I will write down all the categories and take it home to think about it. (Can only access the web page from the work computers.)
