I saw a flock of 4 white birds flying along the interstate today. It overtook me. I almost ran off the road. I've don't recall ever seeing an all-white bird in Georgia. I tried to search through some avid birders' websites to identify them, but to no avail. They looked like stark-white pigeons, maybe a little smaller. They seemed so strange to me for some reason.

Other thoughts:
State changes
Crimes of nature
Tainted coffee
the Hobo hotel

Andrew told me about Repticon coming up March 1 & 2. I'm thinking about maybe buying a sexed female sandfire. I'm concerned that Echo has spent too much time alone and will be aggressive toward any new beardie. There's also the size (age) difference between one that's already sexed and Echo's current size (age.) Perhaps I can just buy a baby and cross my fingers? It's not that I really have intentions of breeding; I don't even know Echo's sex conclusively. But it's whole lot of fun building a makeshift incubator and hatching teeny, tiny beardies. And the hand-wavey before they mate! Too cute. Echo and Gaia? We'll see.

Other news:
You can buy a donkey jaw bone for $55 (excluding shipping costs)

Every fifteenth of the month, I start out my day by thinking "Beware the Ides of [month]." I rarely say it aloud (I often get chastised at work for vocalizing my thoughts too much, heh.) But sometimes I might have an unmitigated utterance, especially in the third month of the year. Two months to go!

And finally, what I learned about today:
Arthur Lyman,
Juan García Esquivel,
Geodesic domes,
and your mom.

Oh, and The Godfather is a good movie.
