so far school has been canceled through Wednesday; there are rumors that school will be out till friday.
the fires are getting larger and larger. and so far, there is zero containment
i woke up to news of fires doubling overnight.
i hear rumors that the only way to stop the fire is the ocean.
everyone who still have homes to go back to have their tv's switched on to the news channels; we are just just holding ours breathes to see where the fires are going, where the evacuation sites are, and if we will receive the notice to evacuate.
they're signs in the costa verde apartment elevators that read: "if you can help house evacuees, please call this number.."
it's hard to call each other on our cellphones because all the circuits are crammed.
