I'm going to try doing this even though we established long ago that you are my decafé and I suck at writing comments when it comes to your fics (or any fics at all lately, sadly).

Let me just start with the summary line something. I always love your summary lines. They usually do more to me than the actual story does, but that's because I'm a one-liner person lol~ This one is also particularly cool to me because it's about empty and abandoned stuff. For some reason I love the word abandoned and I don't know why. /somewhat of a masochistic perhaps?

On to the actual fic in which you made EunHae become so gorgeously unhappy. I have no other way to describe it lol. There were some things I wanted to quote while reading to give a more specific comment to but I can't remember them now and I suck at reading things a second time. I'll try doing so when I finish this more general ramble about your piece of art writing. (See, this is why it sucks for me to comment to your story, so much goes through my head while reading but once I finish it

Eunhae being gorgeously unhappy... that is a very apt way to describe them here. I adore Eunhae but the truth is they don't always get a happy ending and I think this more than anything hits close to home with how I see them in real life. I love this idea of a could have been but wasn't. It's heartbreakingly sad and beautiful and I am enamored with the idea.

That line. I think we've all felt that way. Wanting to pull someone, or sometimes something or not let a moment pass up, back but not being able to.

this is beautiful and sad at the same time....
all of us must be wondering...how will our life in another lifetime...do everything that we can't accomplish in this one lifetime,can be done in another??
most important/beautiful/sad moment for me in this story:

"....When their mouths almost touch and Donghae can feel the black streaked just above Hyukjae’s lashes with his own, Hyukjae moves away. He presses his lips to Donghae’s cheek and Donghae bows his head, a hopeless smile twisted in the corner Hyukjae almost kisses.
'In another life I wouldn’t have waited for you to kiss me,' Hyukjae whispers into Donghae’s skin. Another unnecessary action but there is always that possibility that those ghosts are actually lingering. 'I would have kissed you first.'....."

I'm not sure I believe in other lives but the possibility leaves this feeling of hope and truth is no one in this life knows if they exist or not. It's definitely an interesting idea to explore.

This is so heart-breaking, so realistic it makes me want to cry. The nearing end and the reassurance of doing things differently in another life..... I don't know this whole thing has robbed me of words.
