...and I am already tired of seeing PINK things everywhere!
Okay, now, let's see...what have I seen advertised as, "[Insert Whatever Here] for 'The Cure.'"?
Pink owls (tacky, too)...
Pink dolls, of varying configurations...
Pink things to post on your Facebook wall (hey, at least they're free)...
Pink figurines...
Pink pins...
I'm surprised I'm not seeing pink toilet paper, pink feminine hygiene supplies and pink toothpaste. Oh, and I forgot the pink kitchen utensils, the "spe-shul" pink packaging on various grocery products and all kinds of other pink things.
At least the advertisers state that part of the money spent on these items will go to breast cancer research. But hey, how about if one decided that instead of sending away for a pink armadillo covered with rhinestones for 49.95, one just contributed the 49.95 to the American Cancer Society or the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation or Susan Komen or whatever else one prefers? Or would that just be silly?
