We got to see a third doctor yesterday, having just missed Neil's regular podiatrist. We also had an instance of "Same Planet...Different Worlds." We had the same nurse this week as last week, and she heard something entirely different than what Neil and I heard about the other (second) doctor recommending surgery and saying the cast was useless. No cast again. Actually, that makes it easier for Neil to shower, so I'm happy.
Supper last night was tortelloni alfredo with turkey meat. Tonight? Who knows? We're not there yet. I have a feeling Neil will want something other than turkey. I was considering roast goos for Christmas dinner. The trouble is, geese are damned expensive. How expensive? On the high end, a good will run you eighty dollars. At Wal-Mart (yes, amazingly, Wally World carries such things), they cost about fifty. I suppose that fifty dollars is not so steep, especially when one can count on getting at least four servings, but turkey is so much cheaper. *sigh* And I suppose that goose is fattier, etc., etc.
I still haven't named the new baby. I'm getting to it. Names are important, after all. I suppose I could continue the "Celtic" theme (Fiona, Brendan, etc.). Or not. Does anyone know the Quenya or Sindarin for "rabbit"?
