Oh but yesterday I resisted the bookstore
The outreach program I had yesterday was cancelled, but they forgot to call us and let us know, so after getting ready to go into the city and arriving, I was reluctant to go back home (even though I have a TON of work to do!) so I went into a Boarders and SUCCEEDED to NOT buy something. I have been looking for some summer time reads but I reminded myself that my aunt has quite a library at home and there was NO NEED to buy a new shiny book when there are many choice ones collecting dust in the basement.
Rainetown update: The whole shabang, sketches and final art work (3) is due by NEXT WEDNESDAY! I have today off and a long weekend coming up, with currently 70% of the book done, so I know I can make this personal deadline!
My goal is to get a dummy book published in time to take with me to Indiana in August. I'm going to visit the Branson clan and will be without internet for a week- perfect time to start coloring things at night or during the slow moments.
