Um oh god I didn't realize how complicated this was until I had to explain it but basically she's in a deposition because they think she leaked something for political reasons (her husband is running against Cary's boss right now) and so Cary is interrogating her and he wants to have it on the record that she got this key bit of information from a previous case from her husband (she did) and as soon as she has to answer the question FOR REAL Will was like "NOPE, THIS LINE OF QUESTIONING IS OVER, and btw I have hardcore dirt on your boss, DON'T MAKE ME DRAG HIM IN HERE."
