I'm the newest recruit, and I want to say: I've only been doing this for two weeks and I'm having a blast. It's got me reading consistently. It's been a great way to participate in fandom - I haven't been writing much, but I'm still able to go out there and be a part of the community again. And the requirements are low-key - you only need to recommend one story a week in any category. That's not to be confused with one story a week in every category. Just one story. Wherever you'd like.
It's that simple.
The hardest part - and it wasn't hard at all - is applying to become an Impalette.
