Actually, they did film a bit together - remember that they chairs stood next to each other at Helm's Deep? And Miranda told that story of how Liv immediately pulled her into a hug when they first met. Who knows, pics can be deceiving anyway. Liv and the Hobbits attended two Gala dinners in 2004 and there's not one pic of them together, but that doesn't mean there's something amiss. ;)

lol, I've seen videos from those events, how they're posing for the photographers and all - if you don't meet each other on the red carpet there aren't any pics taken. I think Liv and Miranda were only on two or three premieres together and their timing might have been very different.
