(no subject)
Staying at hotel was lovely, except for the fact that I couldn't sleep. I was going bonkers, but then I finally passed out at 02.30 or smth. So I skipped breakfast (oh, the shock), checked out and went to meet G. and TS.
Seminar was.. Like a seminar, professors going on and on and on.. Yeah. If I hadn't gotten the porny text I might have gone to sleep, because OMG BOOOORING. Whatever. I slept very well that night, if nothing else. :D
I've put in request for leave next Friday (or Thursday, really, as I'm working that night) to attend the funeral. I probably won't get it, and will be very pissed off re: that. Funerals suck - and not in the positive, life-affirming way - but I can't not go, and I shouldn't be required to explain why. Argh.
