WOW. You guys ... *sniffs* I'm so glad I just happened to check my lj email last night. Thank you, thank you, thank you to hazyshade, incapricious, ames1010, rosi_smaabu, equusentric and one lovely anonymous person. :D I can't believe you guys thought of me and sent me a snowflake; honestly, after I've been just flat out absent for ao long. It means a lot to me and I really appreciate it.
(I think I might have missed a window somewhere to reciprocate, because I didn't see any information about these, so all I can do is say thank you again.)
In a super brief update ... once again, in spite of my very best efforts, this holiday season is turning nightmarish practically before it's even started. :P :P :P It's kind of a long story -- and one I hope I'll get to -- but for once we resolved NOT to travel between Thanksgiving and Christmas (and have so far stuck to that resolution) and yet STILL ... quelle disaster.
Anyway. I don't mean to gripe; this is only to say that in the midst of this, it was especially nice to receive such lovely wishes. Thank you all so very much.
