(no subject)
It is Tax Doom weekend, and I am full of dread. Not because I'm afraid I'll end up with a big tax bill -- there's no way I make enough money to pay income tax, especially this past year -- but because this is the first year I've had to figure in anything particularly complex, such as mortgage deductions and moving expenses. I should have been doing this months ago, like I usually do, but things have just been too crazy for me to wrap my brain around it. Wish me luck, lol. xD
EDIT: Federal taxes -- not so bad, because I am apparently poor enough to qualify for free online help and filing, and I kept better records than I thought. State taxes: OMG I am doomed. People who have filed MN taxes in a year you moved into the state: help plz? O.O;;;
What I really want to be doing today is spring cleaning, yard work, and more illustration...I've been away from my sketchbook for far too long. ::sigh::
But I am extremely pleased to have found a way to type unicode characters in Ubuntu easily as of this morning -- it was taking waaaay too long to have to go in and copy/paste ĉ, ĝ, ĵ, and so on, or even to have to keep running find and replaces on Cx Gx, Jx, etc. Now I can just hit CTRL + SHIFT + U + 0302 and get a combining circumflex ( ̂ ) over anything I want. ^_^ Much faster!
